La Manga 2010

The 2010 La Manga Sevens weekend went off in style this year. The tournament was a real success with many teams already signed up for next years tournament. Netball and Rugby tournaments ran side by side with the following teams coming out victorious

"Being a true VETS side this tournament brought a lot of guys together ( some out of retirement ! ) who haven't played together for a long time, so it sort of rolled back the years and there where smiles all round. Unfortunately we're not 24 anymore and the bruises took a lot of "anaesthetic's" in the bars to put us right !

In its first year this was a well organised tournament with a variety of other activities all on site, which was real benefit in keeping the group together on a tour. In fact this aspect was the highlight for many and so we will, including our tour mascot "Manuel" as seen in this youtube clip, will be back !"
